FAQ

BOOKINGS

When can I expect my final confirmation?

You will receive your final confirmation when you have paid the final balance on your account. You will receive this along with some luggage labels to attach to any suitcases and personal belongings that you are taking on the coach with you.

I haven’t received an email confirmation yet; how can I get one?

If you call our reservations office on 01948 780 271, we will happily send you a new email.

What is the process for receiving my tickets?

When you make the initial booking, if you choose to just pay the deposit you will receive either an email or written confirmation, whichever format you prefer, which shows the outstanding balance and payment due date. When you pay the balance in full you will receive a written confirmation along with luggage labels for your suitcase and personal belongings. You don’t receive a ticket as such, the confirmation is proof of booking. However, it is not necessary to show this to the driver on the morning of departure as they will have a passenger manifest with everyone’s details so you just need to give them your name and they will mark you as present, take your suitcases to put in the coach hold and inform you of your seat numbers.

How do I go about booking my trip?

You can make a booking either by calling our reservations office on 01948 780 271 or by choosing your holiday via the website and clicking the Book Now button to use the online booking system.

Can I make any changes after booking my trip?

If, after our confirmation has been issued, you wish to change to another of our current holidays or change the departure date, we will do our utmost to make the changes. You should notify us in writing, and that request must be from the person responsible for the original reservation. Such a request must be made before the date that the original balance becomes due, and be accompanied by an administration fee of £10 per person. Any alteration made after the original balance is due will be regarded as a cancellation and will be subject to the charges set out in our cancellation terms.

Travel Logistics

Can I choose where I will be picked up and dropped off?

Absolutely! We have dedicated and secured pick-up points conveniently located across Shropshire, Cheshire, and Staffordshire. Some of these pick-up points often have parking facilities available. For certain holidays, we may be able to extend our pick-up points. If you have a specific location in mind, please don't hesitate to get in touch with our team and we'll see if we can accommodate your specific requirements.

What time will I be picked up for my trip?

Departure times vary for all the holidays depending on their distance away from the depot. The times will be printed on your booking confirmation. If the time is yet to be confirmed or it needs to change for any particular reason, then we will inform you either in writing or by telephone communication.

Can I pick my room?

Should you have any special requests (such as low floor rooms, sea view, adjoining rooms) please advise us at the time of booking. We will then pass on your special request to the hotel(s) concerned. We can't guarantee that your requests will be met or that the hotel(s) is/are able to provide the requested facility. We cannot, therefore, accept a booking which is made conditional upon a special request being satisfied.

What should I do if I have specific dietary requirements?

You may have special needs with regard to diet, if so, please make sure that you inform us when booking. This will be notified to the hotel on your holiday and any extra costs incurred must be paid to the hotel by yourself before departure from the hotel. We cannot guarantee the hotelier's compliance with dietary requests.

Is travel insurance included or necessary?

Insurance is compulsory on all European holidays, although not compulsory on UK holidays. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect yourself against unforeseen circumstances.

Coaches

How much luggage am I allowed to bring with me?

We ask you to keep luggage to one medium-sized suitcase per person weighing a maximum of 15 kilos, but a small bag can also be taken on board the coach.

Are your coaches accessible for passengers with disabilities?

The holidays in this brochure have been carefully planned to include as much interest as possible. Inevitably some of the holidays include lengthy periods of travel and some walking on sightseeing excursions, and therefore may not be suitable for everybody. In the interests of Safety for all concerned, passengers must have enough mobility to board and alight from our coaches, with the minimum of assistance. Additionally, many of the hotels will have steps to contend with and may not possess lifts, and although we will try our best to look after disabled passengers, it is important that you inform our office at the time of booking of any medical condition that would affect your mobility or diet, in order that we may pass on this important information to whom it may concern. We will make every endeavour to minimise the discomfort and inconvenience, but for obvious reasons are unable to make any guarantees. We are more than willing to cater for manual wheelchairs, however, we are unable to carry motorised wheelchairs due to the weight and luggage capacity available.

Will there be restroom facilities available on the coach?

Yes, all of our coaches have toilet facilities onboard. There will also be a designated comfort stop on your journey.

Can I reserve specific seats on the coach?

Requests for particular seats can be made on most holidays when booking, but since allocations are made on a first come first served basis, early booking is advisable. When bookings are made with us you will be offered the best seats that are available on the coach at the time. There is a seating plan for the coach for each holiday, but it is possible that, on occasions, for operational reasons, a coach of different configuration may be used and we must, therefore, reserve the right to alter a seating plan and allocate seats other than those you have booked, although this will be avoided as far as possible.

Are pets allowed on board?

Unfortunately, we do not accept pets on board other than Guide Dogs in the UK and Eire only and by arrangement.

What are your safety measures on board?

When you board the coach, the driver will give a safety briefing which we ask that all passengers pay attention to. The seats are all fitted with safety belts which you must wear at all times and listen out for any announcements that your driver may have during the trip. The coaches have 2 exit points, one at the front which you will use to board the coach initially and also a central door which is driver operated. There are also break glass hammers situated at various points on the coaches, only to be used in an emergency situation should the exit points become blocked or unsafe to use. Journeys are planned to ensure that drivers can safely stay within speed limits. Top speeds are governed by stipulated limits and all tachograph and drivers’ hours regulations are carefully observed. All our coaches are equipped with tracking systems, so we can keep a close eye on where they are and drivers can track their journeys in full.
