CHATSWORTH

CHATSWORTH HOTEL
This Victorian townhouse is situated across the road from the seafront promenade. Offers comfortable accommodation a genteel restaurant with sea views, a traditional bar and a ballroom. It also has an indoor heated pool for our guests to use.

Holidaymakers have been coming to Llandudno for generations, and it’s still the best all-round destination for every member of your family. There's a proper Victorian pier, historic castles and farm parks full of cute animals.

Great Orme is Llandudno’s own mini-mountain which rises straight out of the sea to a height of 207m. You can walk up if you’re feeling energetic, or take the historic Great Orme Tramway which has been ferrying passengers to the summit since 1898. Alternatively, you can test your head for heights with a ride on Britain’s longest cable car.

We have some free time here before boarding a boat for a cruise to Puffin Island with its regular sightings of puffins, grey seals and dolphins.
(Please note, the boat will only sail if conditions are safe, sometimes the sea state around the island can be rougher than in Beaumaris and the Menai Strait. Also, you don’t get off on the island)

Beaumaris is a captivating seaside town, with its mix of medieval, Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian architecture.

Take a walk through the town, starting with a stroll along the seafront, taking in the pier and the views over the Menai Strait and Snowdonia then continuing through the charming streets with their picturesque cottages, many painted in soft pastel colours.

Day off in Llandudno. Explore the beach, pier, shops or take a cable car to the summit of the Great Orme.

The largest seaside resort in Wales, Llandudno sees almost ten million visitors every year which keeps Llandudno well and truly on the tourist map. Settlements have existed on this site since the Stone Age, and with the limestone headland, known as the Great Orme, at the end of the beach granting natural protection from the rough seas, it’s obvious why it’s so popular.

Llandudno Pier offers the quintessential seaside experience. Stretching for 2,295 feet, it’s the longest pier in Wales and has been granted Grade II listed status.

Or why not visit Llandudno’s Home Front Museum. This unique museum offers a trip down memory lane to 1940s Britain, allowing you to experience both the happy and the frightening side of life as a civilian in the Second World War. It brings the sights, sounds and smells to life, immersing you in the 6 years that moulded the country and its people.
After breakfast, we leave the hotel to make our way home.
