The Queens Hotel is situated in a quiet and peaceful location in Paignton.

A short level walk will bring you to the seafront or the centre of the town. All bedrooms are en-suite, tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished. The owners pride themselves on their menu, quality of food and excellent service. There is a well stocked bar, excellent ballroom facilities and indoor pool.

The South Devon climate is just about the kindest in Britain. In the immediate area there is a pretty harbour, lovely parks and gardens, and a wealth of little coves and bays.

After pickups we travel to Paignton for our stay at the Queens Hotel.
This morning we travel to Exmouth where we take a circular boat trip on the River Exe.

Sailing all year round on the calm and sheltered waters of the beautiful River Exe, these cruises are the best way to see the stunning scenery, wildlife and nature of the nationally renowned Exe Estuary. The circular cruise will depart from Exmouth Marina, travelling the peaceful waters of the river, up near Powderham Castle and along to where the river opens out into the English Channel, on Exmouth’s traditional seafront.

Afterwards we travel to Exeter for free time. 
Today we travel to the lovely seaside resort of Teignmouth for free time.

Teignmouth is a stunning coastal town with historic Georgian buildings, long sandy beaches, and fresh local food. The town sits on the edge of the mouth of River Teign and the South Devon coast. It is the ideal destination – with a Victorian Pier, lido, play park and crazy golf all within easy reach of the beaches and town.

Afterwards we travel to Bovey Tracey for a visit to the House of Marbles. Step back in time and look through the collection of board games, marble games and bagatelles from as early as the 1600’s. 
Included is a cream tea after your visit in the delightful café.

Day off in Paignton.

Paignton is a compact resort, with the seafront and town centre shops all within close proximity, making it an ideal holiday.

Why not visit the UK’s biggest zoo, Paignton Zoo or for the thrill seeker take a trip to the UK’s largest outdoor waterpark at Splashdown Quaywest. You could take a ride on the Steam Railway with extraordinary views or have a beach front game of crazy golf.

For the walkers there is the stunning South West Coast Path which stretches for miles in both directions allowing you to enjoy the wonderful scenery and breath-taking views all the way to Brixham or Torquay.  

We leave the hotel after breakfast and travel home.
